REN I only just discovered Groovy Movies while scrolling through bandcamp. What a gem of a find! Love all of the tunes and enjoying my album purchases. Can't wait to spin my vinyl LP when it arrives. Woop Woop!

Joseph Sciortino I fell into the music of Groovy Movies when I saw an option to purchase the “Chasing the Sun” split 45 and fell in love with Nick’s synthesis of Beatles/Monkees/Loving Spoonful sounds all rooted in the best of the psychedelic 60’s. Hooks galore just draw you in and those harmonies will give you goosebumps. I have purchased the two Lp’s and the 45 and listen to them whenever I need to get a fix on great rock/pop. One of my favorites these past 5 years

Real Eyes 02:39
When you can’t describe the things you hear When you cannot find the words although it’s crystal clear When you see that everything is beautiful And you finally realize the meaning of it all Only through real eyes, can you finally realize real truth When you can’t describe what you perceive When you can’t decide what’s truth and what not to believe When you see that everything is out of sight And your eyes are finally woke enough to see the light Only through real lies, can you finally realize real truth Open your real eyes, then you’ll finally realize real truth

I Get By 02:22
Things always seem to work out, so why should I worry Time's gonna do it's thing, so why should I hurry I get by x4 Things always seem to work out, so why should I worry Nothing's real is my only realization So, what's the use in any aggravation I get by x4 Nothing's real is my only realization It's hard to get things done when I'm lazing in the sun I can't seem to find no motivation I'm so happy being lazy People think I must be crazy But I just don't let it phase me I'd just rather stay in bed All these people chasing money Seem to think it's really funny That I've got such a sunny disposition, but no bread Or so they've said I can't seem to find no motivation
4.
No Meaning 02:52
Endless possibilities arise Doubt everything and find your own light There is no meaning Countless opportunities await Life is only what our minds create There is no meaning x2 There is no ending and there's no beginning There is no losing and there is no winning No destination so no need for wandering There are no answers to questions you've been pondering Endless possibilities arise

I used to kiss your lips and walk you home Tell you I love you when we'd hang up the phone Now when I see you all I get is a cheek Don't say I love you anymore when we speak Never gonna be unkind Never gonna be unhappy again Y’know it’s gonna be alright in the end We’re still friends I wanna tell you that I love your ways That aint the kind of thing that friends oughta say Girl, I wanna hug you, wanna kiss you too That aint the sort of thing that friends oughta do Only gonna be sunshine Days will never be cloudy and grey Only gonna be clear skies from now on We’re still friends Sometimes I wanna go to a place where I know I won’t be found 'Cause When I see her smiling face, it always makes me frown I could really use a pick me up, but it only seems to brings me down
6.
Leslie 03:05
Leslie, don't go for that ride Leslie, please stay by my side Of all the girls in the family, you know you're the only one for me Leslie, don't go for that ride Honey pie, I must confess I don't care what Charlie says Bobby don't deserve to call you his Sadie's sexy and Squeaky too But I'm afraid they just won't do The only problem is they're not you
7.
Traffic Jam 02:31
Traffic jam Please subside So I can Get to my baby's side I hope she's not taking me for a ride My baby sent a message saying she was home, waiting for me So I hit the road and took a trip to keep her company But there were cars as far as the eye could see She said she's waiting for me Waiting so patiently I hope she's as patient as she seems Traffic jam – beep beep traffic jam

I am free In reality But in my mind I'm in a penitentiary The whole world seems Is closing in on me I guess I wasn't made for the 21st century Nobody said there'd be these kinds of days I wanted something else, but got more of the same I'm wondering if things will ever change Or is it always gonna be this way Till my dying day World War 3 Is looming over me Lately it feels like an eventuality It seems to me It's easy as can be But people make things hard when it's elementary
9.
Yesterday I was a Zenn-La ponderer But today I'm a cosmic wanderer Surfing the stars Riding the spaceways Surfing the stars Soaking up cosmic rays Destiny still lies before me It beckons me, so there shall I soar...
10.
Be Kind 02:35
Looking backwards to a different time When it seemed so absurd to utter a word that wasn't loving and kind But as time goes by we find ourselves Saying things we regret how we seem to forget the words that we use should be kind Why'd you have to go and say such a thing Well you know that wasn't a very nice thing to say to me It's alright, I'm not uptight You know I only wanna get to know/kiss and hug you You seemed so nice/Cause you're so fine Why'd you have to say those things Sometimes I must remind myself Only speak words of love easier said than done Why is it so hard to be kind

Well, I should have known right from the start Those puppy dog eyes just melt her heart We could share her love if he weren’t such a hog (snort) Ooh that lucky dog (Woof) He seems to take it for granted when she scratches his ears Kisses his nose and pats his rear I wanna be her prince, but she won’t kiss this frog(ribbit) Ooh that lucky dog (Oooww) I wanna tell her that she’s so dear But I’m just crying these crocodile tears I’d be happy as a clam could be But she keeps making a monkey out of me (Ooh ooh ah ah) Well, I should have known right from the start Those puppy dog eyes just melt her heart She thinks I'm for the birds, but he's cock of the walk Ooh that lucky dog (Woof) Well, I finally convinced her to be my bride Not just cause she had a baby inside Maybe I’ll get her attention by the time he turns 18 Ooh that lucky Talk about a lucky That dog gone lucky baby

Where did you sleep when you didn't come home last night? Anyone who knows anything knows that aint right I lied to myself when I said that you'd be true Everybody knows the score, so baby why don't you? Dig what I say If not what I do Dig what I say If you don't dig what I do, dig what I say I just had to drink her in cause she's very fine So intoxicating just like sweet cherry wine You lied to yourself when you said that you'd be true I only wanna love you, but you just wanna boogaloo
